One of the greatest nature photographers was Ansel Adams. Aside from the fact that he was a master of photography, his vision was crystal clear. He was able to manipulate a scene using filters and exposures. You should go to the library and look up some of his work. His work needs to be seen in print to be fully appreciated.
This section will discuss image by image the details of each photograph just as though you were sitting in a classroom critique. This is a good way to learn how to see and it will also guide you with numerous critiquing tips. You will learn to make critical observations about your photographs before you shoot them.
You will need a 35mm camera, and a tripod to get started as a nature photographer. In time you may want to buy an auto-winder for fast speed photography. You may also want to buy a macro lens for tight close-up shots.
Don't forget with each lesson the
button allows you to get help. This feature alone is worth 10 times the value you are paying for the lessons.
